Before the start of the summer holidays, I went back to my original day-to-day rhythm in order to align with the rest of the family. I didn’t have to work, so enough time to study and lab.
After the holidays I didn’t go back to the “getting up real early and crack the day before most of the people wake up”. I felt like I was running against time. Waking up, getting the kids ready for school, and getting in that stand-up meeting. All that in the first 60 minutes of the day. At the end of the day, I was exhausted. I also needed to study again, but the information just doesn’t stick well when you are tired. Motivation drops when you don’t feel like making any good progress.
I changed my routine again and this is how it’s going. I’m recording this daily with 1 or 2 tweets. I might post a bigger blog post explaining the gains and losses.
